Yes, Steam will only run the version of GTA V that is BOTH in your Steamapps/common folder and named EXACTLY "Grand Theft Auto V" If you have 2 versions Name the one you want to play "Grand Theft Auto V" and the one you are not going to play something else, just add a dash at the end or something and be sure the one you want to play is in your Steamapps/common folder where all your games are. To fix it, you’ll need to reinstall GTA 5. Here’s how to do it: 1) Open the Steam client and click LIBRARY. 2) Right-click Grand Theft Auto V and select Uninstall. 3) Once GTA V is completely uninstalled, go back to your Steam Library directory and delete the GTA V folder there. 4) Now download and install GTA V like normal, then launch the game.
